Media music video Proposal


The music video would start off with an establishing shot of a classroom with a character sitting in the room as he/she is in detention. Then we would see a close up of the characters face sitting down at the desk looking miserable. It would then cut to an eye line match as we see a shot of the clock on the classroom wall. After that we would see a close up of the character at his desk yawing looking miserable. The camera then cuts to behind the character so the audience is able to see the white board at the front of the classroom with the words detention written on it. The whole scene in the classroom would be black and white. We then see an over the shoulder shot the character selecting the music track on his iPod he then slouches over the desk, and then the whole picture goes blurry as he goes into dream and the music gradually starts to get louder. The character then gets ups as he’s still in his dream to see his bottle of 7up change into cocktail glass and his pen change into a horn on the desk. The whole scene then changes into colour. The character then looks at the doorway outside the class room. The camera then cuts to doorway with a girl dancing flamboyantly to the music. The rest of the music video then shows the audience the character having a good time drinking his cocktail and dancing. We also see different shots of him and other people doing the limbo etc. The video then starts to go blurry it then cuts to the character back at his desks slouching he then wakes up to see his cocktail glass change back into the 7up bottle and his horn change back into the pen. The whole scene then changes back into black and white. Then the character turns around and looks at the clock, grabs his bag and then leaves.
